Speech2Structure Pathology – Development of a novel real-time diagnostic software for medical dictation systems

Together with the Pathological Institute Mannheim of the Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg we  develop new Natural Language Understanding (NLU) algorithms to extract tumor-relevant coding features such as morphology, localization, diagnosis and severity in free-text pathology reports in real-time. This enables pathologists to code pathology reports on-the-fly, resulting in significant time savings and efficiency gains while increasing the coding quality of structured tumor reporting.
