The research project “Clinical Data Intelligence” (KDI) is a three-year research project that deals with the further processing and integration of various medical or clinical data (e.g. medical reports, X-ray findings, but also biochip data). These different data sources are to be combined into a common database, which should provide added value in relation to the medical information already available. For example, automated searches for as yet unknown side effects of medication should be carried out based on the available data. Known relationships can also be better quantified.
KDI is funded by the BMWi as part of the federal government’s “Smart Data” competition. Averbis supplies important components for the analysis of medical reports and reports and develops its own technologies based on the KDI use cases from the fields of nephrology and gynecology.
