The DebugIT project is part of the seventh EU research framework program. The main goal within the project is to create IT applications that bring significant improvements for the monitoring and control of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance in Europe.

This is achieved through the production of a technical and semantic infrastructure, which makes it possible to combine clinical data from different clinics from different countries and to make them available for use. This infrastructure analyzes large amounts of clinical data using sophisticated text and data mining methods to apply the knowledge gained to clinical decisions.
