Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will develop and train state-of-the-art models (Transformers, LLMs) for various tasks in clinical text processing.
- You will optimize model performance and accuracy using data-driven approaches and innovative ideas.
- You will enhance our MLOps stack for scalable model deployment and quality assurance.
- You will work collaboratively in an agile work environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Comprehensive knowledge in Natural Language Processing, especially focused on Transformer-based models and LLMs.
- A successfully completed degree in computer science, natural sciences, mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and reliability, and you enjoy working in a team.
- Experience processing biomedical data, especially texts.
- Excellent programming skills in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ideally also in Java, with an emphasis on clean, well-structured code.
- Experience with MLOps topics such as cloud deployments (Azure, AWS), CI (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) is advantageous but not mandatory.
